About This Project

Welcome to Yeshiva University’s new Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) offering on Coursera, an online educational platform that reaches 16 million learners worldwide. Filmed and conceived by YU Global — Yeshiva University’s online learning division — the course is called The Arch of Titus: Rome and the Menorah and is presented by Professor Steven Fine, Yeshiva University’s Dr. Pinkhos Churgin Professor of Jewish History and its director of the Center for Israel Studies. Among the prominent institutions featured are The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Getty Institute, The Jewish Museum, Yeshiva University Museum, University of Southern California, Wilshire Boulevard Temple and Park Avenue Synagogue.
