Gabe Rosenn brings his considerable creative talents as a video editor and musician to Nuforms Media. Gabe recently edited a a Nuforms-produced film for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, which played at Universal Studios, and various comedy videos for Funny or Die, as part of the Nuforms ComedyPOPS division.

He graduated from Vassar College, where he received his BA in Film Studies. Upon graduating, he moved to New York City and made promotional videos for Blue Note Records artists Stefon Harris, Henri Salvador, Greg Osby among others. He also shot and edited several music and concert videos (notably for Brooklyn indie rock band, the Volunteers). He’s also taught digital video production at the New York Film Academy and with the Nuforms-run Film Camp for Teens in Pennsylvania.

When he’s not shooting, editing or teaching film, Gabe can be found playing music. A talented guitarist/composer, Rosenn has created original soundtracks for several works, including the documentary series, “This is Your Year” (Tenworlds Productions) and for his own, recently-completed documentary, “Hot Tubs”, about the hot tub scene in Santa Barbara in the 70′s as documented in legendary indie publisher Noel Young’s book by the same name. Perhaps it’s Gabe’s jazz guitar abilities which give him such a keen sense of timing and grace as an editor. But either way, we’re thrilled to have him on the Nuforms Media team.
